JA Update: The washing machine has arrived!
Many thanks again to Suzanne Bloor who raised all the money, from her 10k Hua Hin run, needed to buy the brand new washing machine and blue water tanks shown in the photos as well as a new gas stove. She raised over 9,000 baht. The villagers at the Bang Saphan house sponsored by Jungle Aid are extremely grateful and are looking forward to using the washing machine for the school uniforms

JA Update: Jungle Aid was very happy to do a "new normal" trip to Bang Saphan on July 4th as the trips at the end of March and May were limited to dropping food and expense money in accordance with social distancing guidelines that were in effect at the time. We had 2 doctors, 2 nurses, an activities coordinator, hygiene presenter and his young demonstrator and of course our wonderful translators. We got to see the washing machine and new lights for the first time.
We also dropped off :
-700kgs of rice
- fresh chicken, pork and eggs
- instant noodles
- canned fish
- high protein dried mung beans
- clothing donations from the Hua Hin community
- rent for the school children's shelter
- money to repair the leaking roof
It was wonderful to see these lovely and extremely appreciative souls again. During the previous 2 trips it was very sad to just drop the supplies and leave without feeling the positive and happy energy these people exude despite having to struggle with a lack of resources and opportunities.

JA Update: Quite an adventurous trip to Bon Luk last weekend. Due to the roads closure Jungle Aid team couldn’t get to the village, but that didn’t stop our amazing volunteers.
The chief of the village along with some kids managed to meet them half way to receive the donations, food and money. Fantastic team work!
