JA Update: Latest updates about JA patients.
Yesterday we revisited our young friend who had the motorbike accident 7 month ago. His reactions are getting better and better. His Mum told us that he was very good in English. So we spoke English to him and he seems to understand.
We also visited the man who is bed ridden for many years after a motorbike accident. Jungle Aid supports his family and gives additional instructions about the wound care. Today he told us that the wounds seem to be healing well. It encourages him to go on.
Khun Khulab uses the backrest donated by Jungle Aid. She says it helps her to feel good.
Mom of the young girl with epilepsy was happy to receive donated bed sheets.
Thank you all so much for your donations! We couldn’t do it without your continues support 🙏

JA Update: Big shout out to the amazing Sang Foundation, EU Covid 19 Response and Recovery in Thailand group, Actionaid and Muutsumi Adachi. Today they delivered a generous food bag and 5kg of rice to 320 pre-registered recipients in a village behind the Hua Hin railway station. It was very well organised and very much appreciated by the beneficiaries. It was an honour for Jungleaid to be able to help with our truck that was donated by the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin. We are stronger together!

JA Update: A huge thank you to HHIS families and students that have raised awareness about Jungle Aid. The students gave an amazing presentation and all the school collected donations of rice, noodles and clothing which will shortly be sent to the villages. Amazing support. Thank you.

JA Update: Jungle Aid would like to ask if anyone has a propane tank (full or empty) and/or a restaurant/commercial type of burner.
Our school children's shelter in Bang Saphan has 38 children and a handful of parents/guardians who take care of them. Most of their parents live far away in the jungle and work on rubber plantations. They have never been to school and don't speak Thai. Although battered up at the moment any child who can participate in the Thai economy in their future will indeed have a brighter future. Much brighter than another generation of tough living.
These marginalised groups are such gentle and appreciative people.
They have to cook for 45 people everyday and the inexpensive cooker we bought for them did not last long.
We are hoping to bring them a proper cooker at the end of October. Does not matter what it looks like, our volunteers will clean it, remove rust etc.
If you have a commercial cooker and/or tank to spare let us know.
Or if you would like to make a tangible donation we could arrange to buy one with your donation.
