JA Update: Project Climbing Frame!!
Thanks to the students and families of Hua Hin International School, they raised 26,500THB prior to Covid for an amazing initiative to bring the children of PalaU Noi a climbing frame!
The packages have been delivered and a team of volunteers will travel up next week to work alongside villagers to set it up! This will bring the 50 students of the village Pre-school, ages 2-5yrs, countless hours of fun and exercise! Stay tuned to the progress and as always, thank you for your support!
Trip report
Summary: The team visited Pala U Noi today. 70kg of rice and other food donated by the students of HHIS. Reusable bags, face masks and hand sanitizer donated by the Rotary was also distributed to the villagers. Wonderful activities lead by Stella and Cindy, fun was had by all today.

JA Update: The Jungle Aid team visited PalaU Noi today. There were over 30 children eager to participate in the activities lead by Stella and Cindy. Wonderful to see them enjoying crafts, colouring and games. Georgina, the Area Manager, discussed future projects which include installation of a climbing frame and construction of a football field near the pre-school in the main road. These projects have been funded by private donors and coordinated by Jungle Aid. The overall health of the village has been very good and only 16 patients required medication for worms and lice.

Summary: 16 patients seen in the clinic today in PalaU Noi. The villagers received treatment for lice and worms. The leader reported that the health of the villagers has been very good as of recent. This shows the long term impact of regular health visits from Jungle Aid. A health seminar provided to the children on hand washing and dental hygiene. Masks, reusable bags and hand sanitizer donated by the Rotary Club were distributed to the residents.

Summary: July 25 Trip to Pala U Noi.
Villagers happy to receive us after the first visit in 6 months due to Covid. 17 patients seen in the medical clinic. Volunteers provided health seminar about toothbrushing and hand washing as well as fun activities with the children. Currently, Jungle Aid is sponsoring one student to attend his third year of University to become a physical education teacher.

Trip report
Summary: This weekend the Jungle Aid team went to PalaU Noi. There was a lot of action in the village this time due to Chinese New Year and some of the volunteers had a blast playing sports with the children. The medical clinic was busy with 34 patients and we gave out soap and toothbrushes during our health seminars on hand washing and oral hygiene. Our are manager met with one of the university students sponsored by JA and he was happy to report he will graduate in one month. The water pipe project is now complete and the village has enough water during the current drought and the rivers eco-system is being maintained. All very positive!

Summary: Health Seminars today in PalaU Noi village on the subject of dental hygiene and hand washing. The children received soap and toothbrushes. Also, the village leader gave JA health promotion posters regarding health check ups and when to seek medical attention. These posters are written in Thai and Karen and will be used in other villages.
