JA Journal
JA Update: The water project is almost completed. Today the Area Manager, translator and volunteer walked the path up the mountain approx. 1800m where the villagers have started constructing the dam with rocks and concrete. All the supplies must be carried in by hand or on their backs. This is an arduous task. If all goes to plan there should be enough pressure to move the water with no pump.
Trip report
Summary: Trip out to PalaU Noi today with 12 volunteers including a nurse and 3 Osteopaths. The Area Manager also went up to the site of the dam construction where the water project is almost complete. James treated the children to an hour football which they loved! Stella provided some fun games and colouring!

The JA area manager surveyed the route with volunteers who have expertise in logistical projects in remote areas.
