Update: I’m focusing on my training block this week after a pretty good tournament at the weekend where I finished third. Ed and I have been working hard to improve the quality and consistency of my ground strokes. I’m also concentrating on creating more leg drive in my service action. I was pleased with how these were going at the weekend. I’m determined to keep improving them before I play my next tournaments in February.

Update: Day off today before commencing my last week of training before my tournament week in France $60,000 event. This weeks training will consist of a lot of match play scenarios. Trying to replicate pressure situations in order to try to best prepare for the tough situations I will no doubt find myself in during a match..3-3 30:30 in the 3rd set for example or a break point down in the second set having to serve a second serve. I find it really helpful to try to replicate these scenarios during training so that I feel as prepared as I can for the challenges I will face in a tournament. Looking forward to training with the rest of the ProV3 squad this week.

Update: Touchdown in Latvia for my first tournament in 2020! This is a $15,000 ITF event in Liepaja, Latvia. I'm very happy to be back at tournaments after a very enjoyable winter training block at base. My recent preparation was slightly compromised by my adductor setback, but all in all I decided that this tournament was a good opportunity to see where I'm at. Not only that, I am playing doubles this week with my friend, Isabelle Haverlag from the Netherlands, and we won a recent title in Solarino, Italy so it's good for us to get back on the court together and build for 2020, as we plan to play together for a few tournaments to see how we get on. Looking forward to what this tournament has to offer 🇱🇻

Update: I’m really pleased to be part of the @ProV3 family and looking forward to sharing news from my tennis journey with you. Over the last twelve months I’ve increased my commitment to tennis enormously, playing at a higher level and improving my ranking. In November, I managed to pick up my first international title, winning the 14U Tennis Europe event in Wirral (see photo). This weekend I’ll be playing my first tournament of 2020, a 16U singles Grade 3 in Cambridge. Training with Ed has been going really well and I’ve hit with Beth, Anna and Danielle in the last few days. Can’t wait to get back into competition! 🎾💪🏻

Ranking update (Juniors)
Ranking update: In December, I played a 16U Grade 3 event at David Lloyd Ipswich, winning the singles and finishing runner-up in the double with my partner Calum Fairey. Between Christmas and New Year I played the nationals event (Grade 2) in Sunderland. After a good first round win I had to retire in the round of 16 with an ankle injury. I’m pleased to say that’s now cleared up.
