Update: Unfortunately after travelling to Cancún on Tuesday, by Wednesday afternoon they had announced that the were cancelling all tournaments until April 20th😓. It’s a real shame because after preparing for the last few weeks with the 25k’s and also good solid training I really think that these 3 weeks would have been a good opportunity for me to gain some more points and boost my ranking😓. But I guess it’s all in regards to our health and safety and looking at the bigger picture!
On the bright side I have gotten some good outdoor training and even some beach fitness to ready me for my next jump into competition and hopefully the next time I come to Cancún, I can actually play some matches😅.

Ranking update (Seniors)
Ranking update: Happy to say that I’ve finally made a step back onto the Rankings Table with my points from Glasgow and Sunderland now applied! Jumped from 1918 to 1679 in the space of one week so something positive to go off to Cancún as I strive for not only the ITF points but amore importantly my first (and hopefully plenty more to come) WTA Points! Go hard or go home!💪🏾
WTA/ATP (Singles): Unranked at the moment!
WTA/ATP (Doubles): Unranked at the moment!
ITF World Tennis Ranking (Singles): 1679
ITF World Tennis Ranking (Doubles): Unranked at the moment!

Update: Last week I played a 14U Cat3 Tennis Europe in Germany and won the doubles with my Latvian partner Marina.
In the semis we beat the first seeds who were Danish national team and in the final we beat Dutch national player and her German partner. We didn’t lose a set all week and were a good team!
I have really enjoyed my week out in Germany because I feel that it has allowed me to understand and help myself along my tennis journey. My confidence in my tennis and myself has risen greatly because I now believe that if I am committed enough to tennis, I can pursue my dream of being a professional tennis player.

Update: Back at base for a couple weeks training. Had a good experience in Lyon facing the 2nd seeds. One of whom is a former world number 1 in doubles. I took away confidence in how close I am to being able to compete at the highest level week in week out however there is still exciting work to be done to get there. Can’t wait for the next challenge.
