Summary: Today, for the first time in a long time, it was possible for an extended team from Jungle Aid to visit Pala-U Thai Village. A Health Promotion seminar was held and the villagers could visit the medical clinic. 39 villagers took advantage of this. The toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste found their way to 52 children. 4 Dames asked contraceptives. The 50 mosquito nets are eagerly deducted. Afterwards, the many donations (clothing, bedding and toys) were distributed. Everyone was happy. A warm thanks to our sponsors 🙏🙏❤
Medical supplies
Summary: Jungle Aid just completed another trip to the schoolchildren's shelter in Bang Saphan. Once again minimal contact as they are being extra cautious. The children are back in school, their vaccination rates are low and they live in cramped conditions.
We delivered fresh pork/chicken, eggs, fish, mung beans, oil, noodles, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. Our medical team provided maintenance medicines (asthma, birth control etc.) and treated some patients.
As always we are looking forward to the old days but we have to work within their comfort levels.
The premature twins are looking great with their curly hair!
❤️🙏❤️
