Update: Last week I played a 14U Cat3 Tennis Europe in Germany and won the doubles with my Latvian partner Marina.
In the semis we beat the first seeds who were Danish national team and in the final we beat Dutch national player and her German partner. We didn’t lose a set all week and were a good team!
I have really enjoyed my week out in Germany because I feel that it has allowed me to understand and help myself along my tennis journey. My confidence in my tennis and myself has risen greatly because I now believe that if I am committed enough to tennis, I can pursue my dream of being a professional tennis player.

Update: Feeling good after this week, I worked a lot on volume and hitting through my shots (in squads and in my lessons.) I was also involved in a Teamwork filming sessions at Sutton which will be produced for the LTA. Now I’m really looking forward to getting back to travelling! Going to a 14U TE in Germany today and I’m feeling confident to play my best game.

Update: Challenging week competing at two Batchwood G3’s - 14U and 16U. I played confidently and positively in the 14’s, winning it but had a tougher and more mentally demanding 16’s that I made the semifinals of. Lots of learnings, reflections and things to improve on but definitely some positives to take away.

Update: After my first tournament back I definitely had some key areas to work on this past week to help me for my tournaments in half term - and on my tennis journey. The main focus in my sessions throughout the week were based more on my performer mindset of the game. I look forward to finding my inner confidence on the court next week at Batchwood! I’m also able to be a performer off the court as I enjoy the art of drama and on Saturday’s I love to go to my local junior theatre club!

Update: This weekend I played my first tournament after nearly a three month technical block. It was a 16U G3 at Tipton and I came third beating the 1st and 4th seeds but losing to the 2nd seed in the semis in three sets. I played four challenging matches and used what I have learnt over the past three months as best as I could. I’m really happy to be back on the match court and get a feel for where my level is and looking forward to continuing the work today.

Update: I’ve just come back from France. I had a fantastic experience in Tarbes watching the top 14U juniors and getting to learn and understand more to support me on my journey. Very privileged to join the SPC trip to Le Petit As so thank you to Mike and the other tutors and the coaches for making it an enjoyable and memorable weekend. Getting to watch the high level of competition has really inspired me to reflect and start, stop and continue some day to day habits on and off the tennis court.

Update: Had a really great experience last week at Halton with a full time training week! It definitely had a positive impact on my journey and was a large help to practicing my new forehand technique. Hitting in the proV3 squads was a fantastic opportunity as I learnt a lot and improved my game each day. Thank you to all the coaches that helped and supported me last week.
